8R - Aldir, PY1SAD is active again as 8R1TM from Guyana until 26 July.
He operates CW, SSB and digital modes on 160-6 metres and via
satellite, from 23:00 to 03:00 UTC during the week, and "full time"
during the weekends. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, QRZ, or direct to home
call.
DL - Special callsign DL0SOP will be active on 1-31 July for the 68th
edition of the Sea of Peace Award (see https://dl0sop.darc.de/ for
full details). QSL via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW and eQSL.
EX - Mike, UN8G will be active holiday style as EX/KZ1R from EX9QT's QTH
in Tamga, Kyrgyzstan, between 27 June and 4 July. Activity will be
mostly on 6 metres, with some operation on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres
FT8. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log; paper QSL cards
will not be available.
F - The "Tour de France Radioamateur Challenge" is an operating event
organized by the REF in partnership with local clubs and associa-
tions. It will be held during the men's (4-26 July) and women's (1-
9 August) Tour de France cycling races. Look for special event sta-
tions TMxxTFR (with 'xx' being the department number) to be acti-
vated for one week from the departments hosting a stage start/fin-
ish or those along the race route. For instance, the Radio-Club de
Perpignan will be active as TM66TFR on 4-10 July. In addition,
TM00TFR will be activated by operators from departments involved in

G - GB26WRTC is the official headquarters station for the upcoming
World Radiosport Team Championship, taking place from 8-13 July.
During the IARU / WRTC Contest, the station will be operated by a
youth team. WRTC 2026 will be covered by daily shows on YouTube,
plus a 24 hour livestream of the contest itself:

JD1/O - Kou, JP1IHD will be active again as JD1BQP (https://x.com/jd1bqp)
from Chichijima (AS-031), Ogasawara between 2 and 11 July. QSOs
will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log; QSL direct to home call.
OX - Emil, DL8JJ will be active again as OX/DL8JJ/p from Greenland be-
tween 3 and 14 July. In his spare time, typically during his
evenings, he will operate CW (10 watts, battery powered) from the
main island (NA-018) as well as from Tasiilaq (NA-151).
SP - Special callsign SN93LOT will be active on 1-31 July to commemorate
the 93rd anniversary of the ill fated flight of Lithuanian pilots
Steponas Darius and Stasys Girenas. On 15 July 1933 they attempted
a nonstop flight from New York City to Kaunas in a small airplane
named "Lituanica". After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, they crashed
on 17 July when they were only 650km short of their final destina-
tion. QSL via SP1PMY.
SV - Maksym, DL3PLZ will be active as SV8/DL3PLZ from Corfu/Kerkyra Is-
land (EU-052) on 7-14 July. He will operate SSB and FT8 on 40, 20,
15, and 10 metres. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log; pa-

SV - Tommy, VK2IR is active holiday style as SV0XBF/8 from Paros Island
(EU-067) until 1 August. He can operate on 80-6 metres. QSL direct
to home call.
SPRINT WORLD WIDE AWARD 2026 ---> The HamAward Team announces the "Sprint
World Wide Award" chase that will take place from 29 June to 5 July. The WWA
combines CW, SSB and digital modes activity from participating stations with
real-time award tracking for the chasers: complete information can be found

QSL AU2M ---> Charles, M0OXO, reports that the QSL cards for this activation
(Arnala Island, AS-169) have been delayed. Although expected to arrive from
the printer in India several weeks ago, the shipment was sent to the wrong
address and returned to the courier's depot. Efforts are currently underway
to redirect the shipment, and Charles will provide updates as they happen.
WSJT-X 3.0.2 ---> The WSJT Development Team has announced the General Avail-
ability (GA) release WSJT-X 3.0.2, MAP65 3.6, and QMAP 0.7. These versions
are simple bug-fix releases; installation procedures and programme usage are
the same as before. Tested packages for Windows, macOS and Linux systems in-
clude all three applications and can be found on the project's new website:

The Development Team has also announced to be "well along in the development
of a new mode called JTTY, designed for fast RTTY-like contest exchanges and
other keyboard-to-keyboard communication. Its general goal is an operational
feel similar to standard RTTY, but with much better weak-signal performance
and far lower error rate. Watch for JTTY in an upcoming WSJT-X release can-
didate, and please help us to optimize its features with on-the-air testing
and feedback".
VENEZUELA EARTHQUAKE: FREQUENCY CLEARANCE REQUESTED ---> Following the dev-
astating earthquake on 24 June, local operators have requested that amateur
radio colleagues worldwide - particularly in the Americas - keep 7135 kHz
clear to ensure uninterrupted emergency communications by Venezuelan opera-
tors. "Domingo L. Hernandez Lima, YV5IZE, director of the Venezuelan Radio
Club's National Emergency Network, reports that a large part of the capital
is without electricity, and communication systems are operating on battery
power. They were already activating their emergency shortwave (HF) frequency
