3Y0K: BOUVET ISLAND 2026 ---> "We are still negotiating contracts for the
DXpedition to Bouvet Island. This DXpedition will be a large scale operation
with 20-24 operators, and we are looking for 4-6 more CW/SSB operators to
complete the team: https://3y0k.com/.
We are looking at various options on how to run the expedition, where the
focus now is on helicopter logistics. Previously, at the end of June, we
received the helicopter permit from the Norwegian Polar Institute and
therefore have all the permits we need to activate Bouvetoya". The permit is
valid for a helicopter operation in the period November 2025 to March 2026,
and covers the plateau above the SW corner of the island to the SE part at
Cape Fie.

MORE PACIFIC FOR THE REBELS ---> The Rebel DX Group has announced plans to
be active as T30TTT from Tarawa (West Kiribati), and as 3D22 (Three Delta
Two Two) from Rotuma, before going to Nigeria and be QRV as 5N5N. Bookmark
https://www.facebook.com/rebeldxgroup for updates.

VOACAP ---> The new and improved VOACAP Online User's Manual, "jam-packed
with information to help you master HF propagation predictions", is now
available: https://www.voacap.com/2023/documents/VOACAP_Manual.pdf.

WSJT-X 2.7.0 ---> Release Candidate WSJT-X 2.7.0-rc6  is  ready for download
and use by beta testers: https://wsjt.sourceforge.io/wsjtx.html. This is a
bug-fix release which addresses problems related to the new SuperFox mode,
reported by users of Release Candidate 5.
The SuperFox operators at K8R (American Samoa) encourage Hounds to work
them again, in the remaining days of their activity, until around 22 July.
This will help the development team to exercise RC6 thoroughly before
putting it to use for the N5J DXpedition to Jarvis Island, next month. The
team will depart for Jarvis on 1 August
