5H     - Uli, DO4UB  is moving  to  Arusha, Tanzania.  For the  time  being,
         starting around 20 August, he will be active as 5H2MUA on 15 and 10
         metres SSB.  Next year he will bring in the rest of his  equipment,
         with plans to operate also FT8 and be QRV on more bands  and on QO-
         100. QSL via DO2HQS;  QSOs will be uploaded to  Club Log  and LoTW.

9G     - Adam, M6NXW, will be active as 9G5AS from  Breman, Ghana between 26
         August  and 5 September.  He will operate QRP on 20-10 metres  SSB,
         FT8 and FT4.  QSOs will be uploaded to  eQSL,  QRZ Logbook  and HRD
         Log, neither LoTW nor paper cards will be provided.
9M     - Several special event stations located in various  Malaysian states
         and  federal  territories  will celebrate the  67th anniversary  of
         Malaysia's independence (31 August 1957) on  30 August-1 September.
         Active from  West Malaysia  will be 9M67MA, 9M67MB, 9M67MC, 9M67MD,
         9M67MJ, 9M67MK, 9M67MM, 9M67MN, 9M67MP, 9M67MR, 9M67MT and  9M67MW.
         Active  from  East Malaysia  will be  9M67MQ (Sarawak)  and  9M67MS
         (Sabah). QSL via operator's instructions.
C9     - Gus CX2AM, Bert CX3AN and Rainer CX8FB will be active as C91BV from
         Mozambique on 17-24 October.  They will operate CW and SSB with two
         stations on 40-6 metres. QSL via EB7DX.
D4     - Alex, SQ9UM will be active holiday style as  D4UM  from  Sal Island
         (AF-086), Cape Verde on 16-26 August.  He will operate CW, SSB, FT8
         and FT4 on 80-6 metres. QSL via home call; QSOs will be uploaded to

E5_sc  - Bob, ZL1RS will be active again as E51EME  from  Rarotonga (OC-013,
         grid BG08cs), South Cook Islands from 23 August to 15 September. He
         will focus on 6m FT8 via ionospheric propagation, with 6m EME using
         Q65-60A  as his secondary objective.  QSL via  Club Log's OQRS  and

E6     - Jacek, SP5EAQ  will be active as  E6AQ from Niue  (OC-040) from  22
         October to 9 November, including an entry in the  CQ WW DX SSB Con-

F      - Weather permitting,  Gil, F4FET  plans to operate as  F4FET/p  from
         Tombelaine Island (EU-156) on 31 August and 1 September. Camping is
         prohibited on the island,  so he will have  to walk  back and forth
         during the day at low tide (7 kilometres on foot). He expects to be
         QRV for about 2.5 hours each day:  10.00-12.30 UTC +/-30 minutes on
         31 August,  and 11-13 UTC  +/-30 minutes  on  1 September.  He will
         operate only SSB on  17 and 10 metres  (on or around 18162 kHz  and

F      - Special callsign TM45CDXC will be active on 7-21 September  for the
         45th Convention of the Clipperton DX Club (https://cdxc.org/) to be
         held at Montceau les Mines on 20-22 September. QSL via F5CWU's OQRS
         (http://www.f5cwu.net/oqrs/).
FP     - Thomas, DC8TM and  Martina, DF3TS will be active as  FP/DC8TM/p and
         FP/DF3TS/p from St. Pierre (NA-032) from  31 August to 3 September.
         They will operate  SSB  and FT8  from POTA sites,  lighthouses  and

JA     - Kari, JQ7ELL will be active as  JQ7ELL/7  from  Tashiro Island (AS-
         206) on 31 August-1 September. He will operate SSB and FT8 on  80-6
         metres,  with a focus on 17  and  10 metres. QSL via the bureau  to
         home call.
LU     - Carlos, LU8DCH will be active again as LU8DCH/D  from Martin Garcia
         Island (SA-055) on 15-18 August.  QSL via LoTW, eQSL,  QRZ Logbook,

S7     - Holger, DG3FEH will be active holiday style as S79/DG3FEH from Mahe
         (AF-024), Seychelles on 15-27 August. He will operate SSB mainly on
         40, 20, 15 metres and QO-100. QSL via the bureau to home call. [TNX

SV     - Francesco, IK6QON will be active holiday style as  SV8/IK6QON  from
         Milos Island (EU-067) on 24-31 August. QSL via home call.
VE     - Thomas, DC8TM and Martina DF3TS will be active as  VO1/DC8TM/p  and
         VO1/DF3TS/p from Newfoundland (NA-027) on 24-30 August, 5-6 Septem-
         ber and 11-16 September, and from Fogo Island (NA-198) on 7-10 Sep-
         tember. They will operate SSB and FT8 from POTA sites,  lighthouses

YJ     - Luke VK3HJ, Chris VK3QB, Patrick VK2PN and  Olgierd VK5XDX  will be
         active as YJ0VK from  Efate (OC-035), Vanuatu on 20-26 August. They
         will operate CW and FT8 on 40-6 metres. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS;  QSOs

PACIFIC TRIP ---> Bill, G0VDE will be active as  VP6WR  from Pitcairn Island
(OC-044) on 5-15 September, and as  FO/G0VDE from Mangareva (OC-063), French
Polynesia on 17-21 September. He plans to operate SSB, FT8  (probably Multi-
Stream MSHV) and  some RTTY  (depending on demand)  on  80-6 metres  using a

PACIFIC TRIP ---> Stan, LZ1GC and Ted LZ5QZ  will be active as  E51SGC  from
Rarotonga (OC-013), South Cook Islands on 6-24 November, and as  A35GC  from
Nuku'alofa (OC-049), Tonga on 25 November-6 December.  They will operate CW,
SSB, FT4, FT8 and RTTY on  160-6 metres  with three stations  and a focus on
160, 80 and 60m.  QSLs via Club Log's OQRS (preferred),  LoTW, or via LZ1GC.

SPANNING THE GLOBE ---> 18 October 2024 marks  the centenary of the  world's
very  first trans-global  two-way radio communication.  The contact was made
between  Cecil Goyder, operating the  Mill Hill School station  (G)2SZ,  and
Frank Bell, (Z)4AA, operating from the South Island of New Zealand.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of that historic contact, and celebrate
the dawn of mass global communication,  radio amateurs in the United Kingdom
and New Zealand will be operating four special event stations:
ZM100DX  early September-26 December   from locations around ZL
GB2NZ    29 September-26 October       from locations around the UK
ZL4AA    12-20 October                 from Shag Valley, New Zealand
G2SZ     14-20 October                 from Mill Hill School, England
QSL  for all four calls  via  M0OXO's OQRS.  The  Goyder-Bell Award  will be
available  for contacts made  with the stations  celebrating  the centenary.

3D2Z: TEAM MEMBER CHANGE ---> Due to personal reasons, Hal, W8HC has stepped
down from the on-island team,  and has been replaced by  Dean Chapman, W2FQ.
His primary role  over the next few months  will be to lead the  fundraising
campaign  for  the  DXpedition  to  Rotuma Island  (15 November-4 December):

WW DIGI DX CONTEST ---> This  year's  edition  of  the  World Wide  Digi  DX
Contest ("WW Digi") will take place on 24-25 August (from 12:00 UTC to 11:59
UTC).  The objective  is for  amateurs around the world  to contact  as many
other amateurs in  as many Maidenhead Grid Fields as possible using  the FT4
and FT8 modes on  160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m.  See https://ww-digi.com/ for
complete information.  WW Digi  is a  collaboration  between the  World Wide
Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF) and the Slovenia Contest Club (SCC).
