1A     - A large multi-national team  (EA5C,  EA5EL,  EA5KA,  EA5KM,  EA5RM,
         EA5Z,  EA7KE, EA7R,  EA7X , F2JD,  IK5RUN, IN3ZNR,  IZ0NIC, IZ4AKS,
         JH4RHF and RA9USU)  will be active again as  1A0C  from the amateur
         radio station of the Italian Relief Corps of the Order of Malta  at
         the Magistral Villa on the  Aventine Hill  between  26 July  and  2
         August. Details  will be available on  http://www.1a0c.com/. As per
         tradition, this activity will be associated with a charity project.
         All the proceeds and donations generated by the  DXpedition will be
         used to support the Order of Malta's reconstruction projects in the
         areas of Romagna heavily affected by the recent floods.
3B9    - Lance, W7GJ will be active as 3B9GJ from  Rodrigues Island (AF-017)
         from 27 August to 7 September.  This will be a 6m DXpedition,  both
         EME and terrestrial.  Detailed information and instructions  can be

         to W7GJ.
3D2    - BJ, 3D2BJ (WA7WJR) expected  to depart Rotuma on  19 July at 6 UTC.
         He "will try  to stop in the  Mamanuca Group (OC-121)  and  operate
         from there"  on his way  to  Viti Levu (OC-016), Fiji.  Follow  his
         voyages on https://www.questsofdiscovery.com/current-position.  QSL
         via LoTW  or  direct to WA7WJR;  cards will be sent out when he re-
         turns to the US sometime in September. 
CN     - Taking part in the annual Throne Day's celebrations,  special call-
         sign CN24M will be active from 26 July to 6 August.  QSL via CN8WW.
         Throne Day commemorates the enthronement of  the incumbent monarch;
         since 1999, it has been celebrated on 30 July.
CX     - Special event station  CX90RCU  will be active  on  1-31 August  to
         celebrate the  90th anniversary  of  Radio Club Uruguayo  (CXA1AA),
         founded on 23 August 1933. QSL via the bureau, direct, or via LoTW.
EA6    - EE6RRC is another special callsign celebrating the Russian Robinson
         Club's 30th anniversary.  It is operated by  Jose, EC6DX  until  31
         July. QSL only via LoTW.
FR     - In memory of Denis Arlais (F6DBA) and Andre Fonteneau (F1GJP),  who
         both passed away early this year, Philippe, FR8UA  and  Anne, FR8TZ
         will be active as TO0GL from Reunion Island (AF-016) on  29-30 July
         (IOTA Contest),  30 October-5 November  and 5-10 December.  QSL via
         LoTW, eQSL or direct to F8TRL.
GD     - Keith, G3TTC will be active as GD3TTC from the Isle of Man (EU-116)
         on 26-29 July, including activity during the IOTA Contest.  He will
         operate SSB on 40-10 metres. QSL via G3TTC. [TNX The Daily DX]
HL     - Members of the Gwangju DX Club (6L0NJ) will be active as D73G  from
         Paegya Island (AS-060) on 28-30 July.  They will operate on various
         bands using CW, SSB, FT8 and FT4.  QSL via the bureau,  LoTW,  Club
         Log's OQRS, eQSL, or direct to HL4CCM.
I      - Francesco, IK6QON will be active holiday style as  IA5/IK6QON  from
         Isola del Giglio (EU-028) on 22-31 July. He will operate CW and SSB
         on the HF bands, with some activity during the IOTA Contest.
JA     - JA1QQU/6 will be active from  Yoron Island (AS-023) on  27-30 July.
         Look for him on  10 and 6 metres  FT8 between 23-2 UTC,  and  again
         between 10-14 UTC.  QSL via home call  (bureau or direct), LoTW and
         eQSL.
JD1_mt - Take, JG8NQJ  is expected  to be back to  the  weather  station  on
         Minami Torishima (OC-073) on 20 July,  his QSL manager reports.  He
         will remain there  for about three months,  and  will be active  as
         JG8NQJ/JD1  in his limited spare time.  He operates CW and FT8  (he
         wants you  to call  with your signal report, not your grid square).
         QSL via JA8CJY (direct), JG8NQJ (bureau) and LoTW.
OZ     - Frank, DL2SWW and Gaby, DF9TM  will be active  again  as  5Q5W  and
         OV9M, respectively, from Vendsyssel-Thy (EU-171) on 28-31 July. QSL
         via home calls; they will upload their logs to Club Log.
TK     - Frans, DJ0TP will be active again as TK/DJ0TP  from the main island
         of Corsica (EU-014) from 27 July to 3 September.  QSL via home call
         and LoTW. [TNX DJ0TP]
UA     - Taking part in the celebrations of the Russian Robinson Club's 30th
         anniversary,  look for R1BET/p, R1CBL/p, R1MJ/p and RA1AGJ/p  to be
         active from Zapadnyy Berezovyy Island (EU-117) on 22-26 July.
V6     - Yokohama DX Club's members  (namely JA1CCH, JA1WWO, JA2FIA, JF1UOX,
         JH1ECG, JH1EPI, JH1JGX/AH7C, JJ1LIB and JN1RVS)  will be active  as
         V6SX  from  Weno Island (OC-011),  Micronesia on  25-31 October  to
         celebrate their club's 50th anniversary.  They will operate CW, SSB
         and FT4/FT8 on 80-6 metres (hopefully also on 160 and/or 60m),  and
         will participate  in the  CQ WW DX SSB Contest.  QSL via Club Log's
         OQRS and LoTW.
V6     - 4-16 December are the new dates  for the  V6EU  DXpedition to Chuuk
         (OC-011),  Micronesia  [425DXN 1679].  A four-men team will operate
         SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8  on 160-10 metres.  QSL via  Club Log's OQRS,
         LoTW, or direct to DL2AWG.
V8     - Celebrating the 77th birthday of  HRM Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan  and
         Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei, special callsign  V84SPU  will be active
         on 18-26 July on all bands and modes.  QSL direct to  P.O. Box 849,
         MPC Old Airport, Bandar Seri Begawan BB3577, Brunei Darussalam.
VP5    - Josiah, KI5UBT  and  John, N5VOF  will be active as  VP5/KI5UBT and
         VP5/N5VOF  from  Providenciales (NA-002),  Turks and Caicos Islands
         from 31 July 14 August. They will operate SSB and FT8 on 40-2m. QSL
         direct to home calls; they will not use Club Log or LoTW.  [TNX The

XW     - Simon, XW0LP  has returned  to live in Luang Prabang, Laos. For the
         time being he is active on 20 metres FT8, and he hopes "to be oper-
         ational soon also on 40, 15, 12 and 10 metres  (80, 30 and 6 metres
         are now not authorised for use in Laos)".  QSL via Club Log's OQRS;
         he does  not  use LoTW any longer  ("too much hassle  when changing
         laptops").
ZL7    - Jacek, SP5EAQ will be active as  ZL7/SP5EAQ from Waitangi,  Chatham
         Islands (OC-038) from 20 October to 3 November. He will operate SSB
         on  80-10 metres,  including an entry in the  CQ WW DX SSB Contest.

ILLW ---> The 26th annual International  Lighthouse/Lightship  Weekend  will
take place from 00.01 UTC  on  19  August  until  24.00  UTC  on  the  20th.
Complete information on this popular event, including a  list  of  announced
participating stations, can be found at https://illw.net/.

JA4GXS/6: CANCELLED ---> Kenji, JA4GXS has had to cancel his 22 July  opera-
tion from  Uji Island (AS-067)  [425DXN 1680]  owing to  bad sea and weather
conditions.

MM0UKI ---> Nobby, G0VJG and Emil, DL8JJ  were expected to return to Rockall
(EU-189)  [425DXN 1680]  to collect  the equipment  that has remained  there
since Cam Cameron was airlifted to safety. The team actually reached Rockall
on 19 July, but  weather conditions  prevented them  from landing,  and they
returned to the mainland. The team will re-plan for another recover attempt.

QSL VIA IT9EJW ---> Alfio  reports that  due to reasons  beyond his control,
the printing of the QSL cards for  XF2C (NA-135),  XF3O (NA-090),  XF3M (NA-
045) and XF3H (NA-045) is delayed.  Please be patient;  all requests will be
honoured as soon as the situation is resolved.
